The Department of International Development at King’s College London seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) or Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) for a permanent post (tenure track).

Based at the Strand Campus with its vibrant mix of academic disciplines, the Department of International Development offers expertise and leadership in interdisciplinary study of development, focused particularly on middle-income emerging economies. We welcome applications from those working on topics that fall within the one or more of the following broad themes with a focus on one or more country in Asia and/or global institutions and networks:

  • anthropology of the economy
  • anthropology of politics and the state
  • anthropology of multilateral organisations
  • anthropology of transnational networks and/or social mobilization
  • labour relations and/or labour organisation
  • social policy and/or public good delivery
